Ms. Mary Helen Mori, Ms. Lisa Mariana Oue and Mr. Miko Ronquillo, who are studying at Sophia University under “APIC-Sophia Xavier High School International Students Scholarship”, were invited as guests to the October Festival organized by The Rotary Club of Tokyo South. They enjoyed interacting with other international students and staff of The Rotary Club of Tokyo South.

Before start of the opening ceremony, the head of the Enshuryu-school of Tea Ceremony gave a sado demonstration. It was a valuable cultural experience to learn the details sado, and to drink green tea with Japanese confectionaries. This was an ideal way to experience a time-honored aspect of Japanese culture. They also enjoyed rakugo, a comedic storytelling art, in English, given by Mr.Katsura Kaishi. The evening was a wonderful experience for all.
