Alongside Ambassador Honorat in attendance was his wife, and Executive Director Sato and Secretary General Araki from APIC. Topics of conversation ranged from Ambassador Honorat’s experience as an exchange student in Japan, to matters concerning the joint administration of the Haitian embassy in South Korea, Indonesia and Singapore. Ambassador Honorat mentioned that he is reading former Japanese Ambassador to Haiti Yoshiaki Hatta’s column on APIC’s homepage “News from Haiti”, and talks centered around Haiti’s current affairs.
