APIC, since it held a symposium “Environmental Protection Symposium in the Pacific Islands ” in cooperation with Sophia University in July 2015, has held a series symposium on environment in Palau in August 2015, Jamaica in October 2016. On March 7th, 2017, APIC held the third seminar in Majuro in the Republic of Marshall Islands.

APIC invited Professor Anne McDonald and Professor Akemi Ori from Sophia University as lecturers based on the partnership contract between Sophia University and APIC. The lecturers gave a lecture on environment from each viewpoint of specialties. Secretary-General Megumi Araki from APIC also joined the seminar and conducted it on behalf of APIC.
